By enrolling in the Starmummies contest, you ("Contestant") agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these rules and regulations. You also represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements for the contest.
Furthermore, you agree to accept the decisions of Starmummies Contest and any other sponsors of the contest as final and binding in all matters related to the contest.
Any attempt to deliberately damage the Star Mummies contest website or any related website, or to undermine the legitimate operation of the contest, may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. If such an attempt is made, Star Mummies reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
Star Mummies also reserves the right to remove any contestant who violates these rules or fails to behave appropriately from the contest and to disqualify any such winner. All contestants must conduct themselves in an appropriate and respectful manner at all times while participating in the Star Mummies contest, and must abide by the contest rules as well as any other regulations in effect during the various stages of the competition, including the final stage
Registration for the Star Mummies contest and stage one voting begins immediately. The entire contest will last for a duration of 3-4 weeks.
• Participation in the starmummies competition is free of charge.
• To enter, participants must meet the eligibility requirements and submit a photo of herself via the website or WhatsApp.
• Contestants are encouraged to read and understand the terms and conditions of the competition before participating.
• By submitting an entry, contestants agree to abide by all rules and regulations of the competition. Any false information provided will result in disqualification.
• Entries must be submitted during the designated registration period to be considered valid.
• The starmummies team reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and contestants at any time, and to disqualify any entries that do not comply with the terms and conditions or have been tampered with.
• By entering the competition, contestants grant the starmummies team permission to use their submitted photos or personal information for promotional and marketing purposes for one year without compensation.
The Starmummies competition will use a three-stage voting process to choose the final winner.
• Voting will take place online, with each vote costing N50.00 NGN.
• All voting will take place on the website or through any available payment method.
• The Judge's judgment will be final and based on the most votes.
• The winners will be chosen as follows:
o Round 1: To advance to the second stage, all participants must gain at least 100 votes at a rate of 50 Naira each vote.
o When the first stage is completed, all participants who received the required number of votes (100 or more) will advance to stage 2 when the timer runs out.
o Stage 2: To advance to the final stage, participants must collect at least 600 votes at a rate of 50 Naira each vote.
o When the timer runs out, the top 10 contestants with the most votes advance to stage 3.
o Depending on the results of the voting, our organization may opt to award random contestants at this stage.
o Only the Top 10 will advance to the next stage.
o Stage 3: This is the final stage, in which the contestants must collect 1000 votes or more at a rate of 50 Naira each vote.
o After the final stage, the top ten contestants will be announced as the winners.
o The first, second, and third place winners will get the first, second, and third awards, respectively, while the remaining top seven candidates will receive consolation prizes.
o The prize for our consolation prize is 20% of the total votes cast.
o The judge's ruling, based on the votes cast, will be final, and there will be no further correspondence.
o The winner must correctly fulfill the conditions to comply with the Competition Rules before being named the winner.
o NO LATER THAN 24 HOURS AFTER THE GRAND FINALE, EACH SELECTED ENTRANT WILL BE NOTIFIED BY TELEPHONE/EMAIL.
o Entrants' family, friends, and fans can vote for their favorite Mum by clicking on the Vote button next to the Mum picture, which costs N50 NGN. Entrants are also allowed to vote for themselves as many times as they wish on the website.
o During the voting round, voters can vote for a Mum as many times as they like.
o Our leaderboard will display the person with the highest votes at the top, indicating who is in the lead (votes).
o The Organization maintains the right, but not the responsibility, to check, filter, and/or monitor the information submitted by entrants and to remove it if necessary.
• The Organization will not be held liable for any technical malfunctions or problems with phone networks, computer systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, or failure of emails or entries to be received.
• Entrants must ensure that any copyrighted material they upload during the competition is either owned by them or they have obtained permission from the original copyright owner. The Organization will not be held liable for any copyright infringement.
• The Organization reserves the right to modify or terminate the competition without notice, and by participating in the competition, Entrants agree to relinquish their rights and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organization.
• The Organization has the right to use footage and pictures from the competition, including images and personal details provided by Entrants, in any of its advertising materials (during and after the competition) without prior notice or consent and payment of any modeling fee.
• The Organization will add the personal information provided by the Entrants to its database and may provide personal data to third parties for promotion and activation projects.
• Voting costs N50 NGN and is done on the website using various available payment portals.
• The Organization reserves the right to delete any information uploaded by an Entrant that is believed to be illegal, obscene, offensive, or defamatory or otherwise inappropriate for the competition.
• The Organization has the right to use images of the winner for publicity purposes without further compensation.
• The Organization, its associated companies, directors, and employees will not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from any cause suffered by the Entrant.
• The decision of the panel of judges during the various stages and grand finale phase is based on votes acquired and is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The helpline and voting service for the Finecouplez competition are available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays
• During these hours, votes can only be added and confirmed
• There is no refund policy for votes cast during the competition.
• The Grand Prize for the starmummies Contest is a cash prize of N1,000,000 naira.
• The first and second place finishers will receive N800,000 and N500,000 in cash, respectively, as well as consolation prizes.
• The top 10 couples will be announced as the Contest winners after the final stage.
• The first, second, and third place winners will receive the first, second, and third awards, respectively, while the remaining top seven mummies will receive consolation prizes.
• The panel of Judges' decision is FINAL (based solely on votes) and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Any prize that is not claimed within 10 days of being notified will be forfeited and no correspondence will be entered into. "Formal notification" refers to email and phone correspondence sent to the recipient's contact information.
• Winners are responsible for the risk and expense of using the prizes provided to them. The Organization will not be held accountable for the usage of rewards by the winners.
• The Organization reserves the right to substitute awards of comparable value if the prize is not available despite reasonable efforts to procure it.
• Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of and adherence to the competition's Terms and Conditions and Competition Entries.
• Only the Top 10 contestants based on votes, as well as the winners in the Special Categories, will be eligible for any prizes.
• All rewards will be processed within 10 to 15 working days.
1. By participating in the starmummies Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the Competition Rules, which will be posted on starmummies.com website/ Instagram page and made available throughout the Contest Period.
2. Entrant further agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Organization, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The Organization reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be:
Violating the Competition Rules;
3. Tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the smooth operation of the Competition
4. Violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines, property or service; and/or
5. Acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
6. The Organization reserves the right to remove from the Competition, any Winner who breaks such rules and/or fails to behave appropriately and to disqualify such Winner.
The Organization reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to terminate the starmummies Competition, in whole or in part, and/or modify, amend or suspend the Competition, and/or the Competition Rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.
• The Contest is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• The Competition Rules may be subject to change at any time to comply with applicable legislation, without notice.
• The laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will govern and interpret all questions and issues related to the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of the Competition Rules, as well as the rights and obligations of the entrants and the Organization in connection with the starmummies Contest.
